The Parley is Pikes Peak State College’s Literary and Arts Journal. Each year the collection is given a different theme, and for 2025 that theme was steampunk. We were tasked with creating the journal as a whole, and below you can see both my initial logo ideas, as well as the finalized full color logo. To keep with the Steampunk theme, and try to avoid an abundance of gear imagery, I went with two vehicles that are commonly associated with the aesthetic : Trains and Airships. I personally found the airship to resonate more.
