Herding Cats Energy Drink –The fake brand that this site hails its name from– was a unique challenge. We had to create an energy drink label, with a focus on color and clarity, entirely on canvas with paint. In my initial sketches, I focused heavily on a clever title and an illustration to fit it. I’ve always loved Oxymorons and found a lot of enjoyment in coming up with drink labels for a few. Herding Cats was definitely the stand out of the bunch, and as such was the one that made it into the final product.
